* VPN Americas member Settebello of Salt Lake City, UT won "Best New Restaurant in the State of Utah" from Salt Lake Magazine. Read the article here.

2007

* On Thursday, November 15, 2007 the San Francisco Chronicle issued a correction to stories carried by the paper on August 15 and October 21 of 2007 which incorrectly reported that famed pizza acrobat and restaurateur Tony Gemignani had the association's approval to open a pizza school in Castro Valley, CA. Quoting from the correction: "Peppe Miele the association's U.S. representative, said that only members could establish such a school and that Gemignani is not a member, although the association would welcome his application."

2006

* In September, we attended the 11th Annual Pizzafest in Naples, Italy.

* We added 5 new members Via Tribunali, Settebello, Tuttabella II, Bricks and Spaccanapoli. See the "Members Listing" page for details.

* We attended two Pizza Expos this year in NYC and Las Vegas. Our booth was sponsored by Caputo Flour.

* On April 12, 2006 the Los Angeles Loyolan carried an article entitled "Antica Pizzeria is Fresh Choice." A scan of the article can be viewed here.

2005

* There is an article in the Nov./Dec issue of PMQ Magazine called "The Mother of All Pizzas" about Neapolitan Pizza and VPN.

* We attended the Pizzafest in Naples. VPN Americas had its own booth.

* There are two new books about pizza in which the authors mention VPN and its work:
Pizza: A Slice of Heaven : The Ultimate Pizza Guide and Companion by Ed Levine and Nora Ephron and Everybody Loves Pizza: The Deep Dish on America's Favorite Food by
Penny Pollack and Jeff Ruby.

2004

* There is a new book in Japanese by Mr. Nishiyama owner of Samurai Pizzaiolo called:
Shifuku no Napoli Pizza or "Neapolitan Pizza of Great Pleasure"
