exist and what does it do?
The association exists for the purpose of promoting the discipline and certifying
the production of pizza that is authentic and Neapolitan. (See "About Us")
What do you mean by Verace
(Authentic) pizza?
The authenticity of pizza here means the extent to which it conforms to the international discipline of Verace Pizza
Napoletana and to the original authentic Neapolitan pizza as distinguished
from other varieties of pizza deriving from it.
Why do you say that pizza is
Neapolitan?
Pizza is Neapolitan because the basic form of pizza as we know it today
originated in Naples as a creation of the Neapolitan people themselves. (See "Neapolitan")

Members obtain the right to display the Verace
Pizza sign and seal assuring their customers thereby that the pizza produced in that
establishment is authentic Neapolitan pizza.

First, read the web site to see if your business meets the requirements or could
make the changes to meet the requirements for the production and certification of
Authentic Neapolitan Pizza.
